Commonly, humans have an extra ability to raise their conscious awareness or awareness associated with the development of consciousness. That is why it is named “The Centre for Conscious Awareness”. Everything begins from us and concludes with us. We need to grow more responsibly both empirically and metaphysically, and then we can find answers, more clarity, solutions to global problems and cures to major illnesses. ...

Reflections on the inaugural celebration event held in birmingham. A small group from south london made it's way to an evening filled with love and inspiration. We received a warm welcome from the trustees of the C.C.A in a simple and beautiful atmosphere, complimented by melodious inspirational music playing in the background. A feeling of peace and serenity washed over the audience as soon as we entered the room. "Firstly CCA promotes and encourages many values, one being to educate people in the effectiveness of natural exercise and meditation in maintaining overall well-being and fullness of life as an alternative to remaining predominantly mind-based. Football is widely considered as a form of exercise which is highlighted to maintain and improve fitness levels in individuals as well as marketed by the CCA to develop team work and determination. On Friday 4th of March, Srinivas Arka had a meeting with 2 senior lecturers at the University of Central Lancashire. The first meeting was with Frank J Harrington, Senior Lecturer in Religion, Culture and Society. The second meeting was with Peter Lucas, Senior Lecturer in Philosophy. Both meetings went well, with many ideas and concepts being shared. Each academic was given a book written by Srinivas Arka for the university’s library and reference, and they expressed their wishes to share their knowledge when invited to by CCA. ...

On Friday 21st January 2011, we had our 4th Celebration show, introducing Arka Dhyana (Intuitive Meditation), embedded with the essence of a range of multicultural art performances. We had a Flute Recital by Shree. P. Gnanavarthan, who was accompanied on the Mirudangam by Shree. P. Kirupakaran, and on the Violin by Shree. S. Jalatharan. They played a range of beautiful classical songs that evening. On 17th July, Srinivas Arka held a conference on personal growth and self development in Preston. It was a windy afternoon but the atmosphere was cosy with a very welcoming audience. The conference opened with Srinivas Arka describing the differences between mind consciousness and heart consciousness. On the 27th September we invited everybody from all around the world to plant trees and participate in helping the environment. Tree planting helps to offset CO2 emissions, and also provides extra habitat for wildlife, showing compassion to animals. The Centre for Conscious Awareness (CCA) is a multi-national, registered charitable organisation that is dedicated to studying and researching the structure and nature of human consciousness, its potential, and its extent, including its relationship with the external world. This is achieved not only through rational philosophical enquiry, but also by observing and interviewing individuals attaining transformation or raising self-awareness through personal inquiry and experiences, whether it is self-scrutiny or self-silent-pondering and reviewing through various disciplines of philosophy including epistemology, phenomenology and ontology.
