On Sunday 24th October I
attended the opening of the new offices of Centre for Conscious
Awareness (CCA) in Dudley, West Midlands. The event was well attended,
with visitors from around the world, including our chairman and founder,
Srinivas Arka...
The Centre for Conscious Awareness (CCA) is a multi-national,
registered charitable organisation that is dedicated to studying and
researching the structure and nature of human consciousness, its
potential, and its extent, including its relationship with the
external world. This is achieved not only through rational
philosophical enquiry, but also by observing and interviewing
individuals attaining transformation or raising self-awareness
through personal inquiry and experiences, whether it is
self-scrutiny or self-silent-pondering and reviewing through various
disciplines of philosophy including epistemology, phenomenology and
ontology.
CCA is committed to helping individuals through practical
philosophical training programmes to build their own knowledge and
confidence and assist them to develop their structural and rational
consciousness, which is parallel to achieving heart-based conscious
experiences. This is so that individuals can achieve a balanced
approach towards understanding the external world and experiencing
their intuiting consciousness for their overall wellbeing and
progress. This will naturally contribute for the development of
humanity and collective consciousness for us to become consciously
aware of our universe, the relations, the meaning of life and the
purpose of the questioning mind.
The Benefits to the individuals are:
Greater empathy towards other humans, plants, trees and animals
Compliments to their health
Helping them develop their individual consciousness, which in
turn adds to personal growth
Development of their inner sense and intuiting faculty
Ability to see things from a different perspective and then
choose what is significant to their individual growth and
expansion
Applying both rational and emotional consciousness to build
their greater creative imagination to find new answers and
solutions
Helping them to extend their boundaries of self-discovery and
about their capabilities.
“Everything begins from within oneself as feelings, thoughts,
insights and intuitive emotions. Hence it is very essential first to
raise one’s awareness about one’s positive potential and uniqueness
in one’s energy and knowledge.
Going a step forward raising conscious awareness will help one to
grow and serve humanity and the world more effectively with
compassion and empathy transforming the world for the better also
extending support to organizations who think along the same line”.

Team CCA & AMG play a
‘friendly-competitive’ football match
Hello all.
With all the hype around the professional footballing campaigns
going on internationally, Team CCA/AMG, on Tuesday 8th February
2011 decided to join in and put on what hoped to be a
footballing exhibition (or not)!
With all the practice sessions taken place on Sunday mornings,
spirits were high and confidence was growing as kick off became
imminent.
Playing in charitable spirits with the temperature at sub zero,
5 minutes had passed and Team CCA/AMG had taken the lead. A
well-engineered ‘pass and move’ play allowed Tanguy (our star
striker) to slot in from close range. Was this to be the first
of many!? It was – but NOT for our team.
Before we knew it the final whistle had blown and we were on the
receiving end of a 10-3 thrashing! Some team members put it down
to lack of outdoor practice for us, and coming across a team who
have played consistently on astro-turf for a few years - twice a
week.
I personally, felt they got lucky and we were playing on empty
bellies!! We’d have shown them had we have played at 8.30 in the
morning on a Sunday!!!
All in all we showed moments of good teamwork and thoroughly
enjoyed what will be our first of many ‘friendly-competitive’
football matches, both indoor and outdoor.
Go Team CCA/AMG – well done!
Editor for the 1st article, Sanjay Magdani (Midfielder,
Defender, Goal-hanger – and still didn’t score!). CCA Marketing
team member.
On 15th July 2010, Srinivas Arka met with the Mayor of
Preston, Councillor Albert Richardson.
Councillor Richardson was elected to Preston City Council in
1978 to represent the Deepdale (now St. Matthew’s) Ward.
Over the years he has served as the Chair of Environmental
Health and Control...
On 17th July, Srinivas Arka held a conference on personal
growth and self development in Preston. It may have been
windy outside but inside there was a very welcoming audience
who created a wonderful atmosphere. The conference opened
with Srinivas Arka describing the differences between mind
consciousness.

Srinivas Arka met with Alison Dixey the
Operations Director (Manchester, Merseyside and Lancashire) of the
British Red Cross on 16th July 2010. A lively discussion took place,
exploring science, spirituality and serving humanity, linking it in
with human consciousness. One of the questions posed to Srinivas
Arka by Alison Dixey was ‘where do you think humanity is going?’
This prompted a further healthy and useful discussion.
